May Update

Ellie making her Easter basket - yes we did make it out of paper mache!!

Ellie and Noah ready for church on Easter Sunday - Noah was too interested in what was on TV to pose for the photo!

Hannah in her Easter dress! 10 weeks old.

Well folks a lot has been going on since I last blogged in March. Hannah of course is growing like a weed! Last weigh in was on the 9th May she was a whopping 15lbs 9ozs! Hopefully I'll get her weighed this week not bad considering she is on a pure breastmilk diet. I wish I could loose the weight as fast as she is gaining it!!! She was doing so well and sleeping through the night up until about 3 weeks ago! She has been waking in the night and we can't work out what the problem is. Hopefully it won't last too much longer as Mummy is getting very tired!

Hannah has found her hands and can see the world in a whole new perspective now that she can sit in her Bumbo. She has also figured out that as well as being quite tasty these things at the end of your arms are quite useful in picking interesting things up to play with if only she could work out how to control them! (Hannah 14 weeks)

Hannah loves her bath! (16 weeks)

Hannah enjoying a day at the park Friday June 1 - 17 weeks

Ellie has had her ballet and jazz exams. She really enjoyed doing them as she had to have her hair done by the dance teachers unfortunately mummy forgot to take the camera so we don't have any photos! A few friends took some pictures so hopefully they will pass them on. You can actually see her fancy ballet hairdo in the train picture with daddy and Noah. Mummy and Daddy were very proud of her as she danced her little heart out and did very well. She has also earned her 10m swimming badge swimming without armbands. Ellie enjoyed 2 weeks holiday for Easter (First time ever mummy has been wishing school holidays away!!) She went back on 23 April and was off again this week (May 28th - June 4). Next holidays will be the end of the year and she will have completed her first school year! Its hard to believe as it seemed not so long ago I was blogging about her first day of school! She is very excited that in 44 days we will be going to Canada for the summer. We had a lovely day on Friday out with her friend Max and his sister Lily. After visiting our friend Liz we went to the park for a picnic and play.

Noah has been very busy climbing and rolling and doing all sorts in Tumbletots. As you can see in the photo he is modelling his Tumbletot t-shirt. He absolutely loves it. He attends with his best friend Lily (Max's sister above). He has been chatting up a storm since his 2nd birthday talking in complete sentences and generally being lots of fun. He has also started singing alot. He moved up to the big room in nursery and loves it.

Noah modelling his tumbletots t-shirt - the trainers may be a little big though!

Noah and his cheesy grin - very proud of the train track he and his mummy made - this photo is for you John! He misses your amazing train tracks!

All the toys we have and Noah chooses to play in a plastic box!

Well folks I hope you all enjoy the photos. It has taken me ages once again to do this blog but never mind its done now. Looking forward to seeing everyone in Canada. OOps almost forgot - latest Hannah news - She rolled from front to back last night (June 2nd) and this morning she almost made it from back to front - now the fun begins!!!

I can't believe how big Hannah is getting !!! Tell Noah that when he comes here to Ollie's new house....the train tracks are very complex! Adam stays up late most nights setting them up...in fact that is what he is doing now!! Congrats Ellie on the exams...your hair looked beautiful. I hope you did better at your recital than I did as a kid...how was I to know that they changed the whole dance when I was off sick the week before!!
See you soon!
Rachael, Adam, Ollie, Emma and of course....the deer!!

Wow! I can't believe how much Noah looks like your brother. Not much guess work how he'll look when he grows up. Your girls are beautiful too! Babies really do seem to grow overnight when they aren't yours. Hope you have time to squeeze in a coffee when you are in Canada!
